Very poor response, We had the coverage with 1 cover not Air Fiji, It is your responsibility to settle the claim and then for YOU to recoup from Air Fiji,

After having to make a claim due to a cancelled flight, I can not fault 1Cover on their service with regards to processing and settling a claim. What I do feel irked about is the fact that I had to purchase another policy for the remainder of my trip due to having made a claim. I find this extremely unfair as I had paid for a policy from date X to date Y and this had not yet expired. Why is this allowed when other insurance policies (contents, home, car) do not make you pay for another one if you make a claim before the end of policy? I find this quite devious.
I have used 1cover quite a few times, but have never done a feedback, because when things go well and there is no need for a claim then you don't know how good the insurance really was. But this time we needed to claim and that's when the rubber meets the road. And I must say that I am most impressed, as the claim was fully accepted, where I expected a couple of items would be disputed. But the claim was reasonable and 1cover was considerate. It definitely has raised my opinion of 1cover and I will go with them again. - 5 starts
3-4 stars though when I rang them because we needed to extend the cover period, the person I dealt with got quite defensive when the word claim was mentioned. That is why I was very sceptical of the outcome. But it turned out well and I am grateful.
