Needed a new battery for my Mitsubishi Grandis, ordered on Monday, arrived on Tuesday, great price, works great, what more can I say, brilliant!
We ordered two batteries 23/6, its now 28/6 and they are still sitting in Hermes distribution depot where-ever that might be. Three days I have waited in for them to arrive as I was expecting them on the 26th as the website says next day delivery. I am blaming ABS when in fact its Hermes who are at fault. Another parcel we are also expecting is with Hermes and that's late to.
The only thing "advanced" about this operation is their arrogance, ignorance and dreadful "customer service"
Battery failed on the River Trent within 6 weeks of purchase in the recent gales.
Managed to dock, contacted "company" and told to test the battery so it could be condemned.
Taxi to local Halfords (ABS reccomendation" to be told after test it was useless as shown on their tester.
Cue a week of email tennis lacking any kind of professionalism, failure to honour guarantee, rudeness and lack of activity.
To be fair, had I looked further at the image this company portrays I should have avoided them like the plague.
Also, battery ordered for next day delivery and it took 5 days.
Use a reputable company as this certainly isn't.
I broke down and the AA told me it was my car battery and wanted to charge me well over £110 to replace it, but as I live in Stockport I just called Advanced Battery Supplied Ltd and the came round and fitted me a new one for a substantial amount less within an hour!
Totally amazing service and products. Highly recommended.

Like what comes out you ars
Ordered a battery on Wednesday morning for next day , I did have a classic car show to go to on Saturday. Looks like i am not going to make it now ,
Guess what no battery.
Please consider shopping around and use this company as a really last result. ie if the world was coming to end . But still don’t expect a delivery.
I purchased a battery from Advanced Battery Supplies with a 4 year warranty,in early February 2017 and when i went to start my car in July one day it wouldn't start, used the emergency key to get into and there was nothing i could do. I had to get car towed away and the garage tested battery on their Alba Diagnostic Battery tester and it showed as "BAD/REPLACE" .
i forwarded this report to them showing the £200 i had paid to get the car towed and battery replaced asking for there comments, heard nothing, phoned and was told they were having some IT issues and resend, i resent, heard nothing" phoned again and resent whilst on phone.
Then Stephen just kept shouting over me whilst i asked if he could email me back with exactly what he was saying but refused .
i have now decided i will be taking them to court for failing to supply parts that were not fit for purpose.
Cheap for a reason
Cheap for a reason. Having 3 batteries for various vehicles from them without problems, I purchased a fourth. This was problematic from the start and wouldn't hold a charge. They wanted a test report from ATS or similar, which I got, which confirmed the battery was faulty and needed replacing. At this point, Tayna just ignored the warranty, blamed the car (tested - fine), the alternator (ditto), said I'd not charged it, and just failed to honour the warranty. So if you are going to get a cheap battery from them, just be aware that they don't stand by their warranty. Now off to Small Claims to get my money back. Purchased a replacement battery from a national store, which is working perfectly. To cap it all, they are totally rude and obnoxious. BE WARNED.
Good service with respect to delivery after sales, awful. My experience was a new Advanced XD battery size 019 for my Range Rover. Told me to bring it in for checking, how? cos battery was down, had indepedantly checked by reputable company I have used before, they said car and alternator checked out ok full load check revealed battery was a little weak compared to specs on load check. Advanced batteries still want me to run around and get more checks. SERVICE, DIABOLICAL, really go elsewhere I wish I had and replaced with a Varta or Yuasa as I have used those before with absolutely no hassles
Excellent turnaround time from order to delivery. Website is easy to use and I had no problem selecting the right battery for my vehicle.
Do not use this company, had a battery from them 2 weeks and not held charge and wouldn’t charge up. Customer service awful, the person I spoke to got irate with me. He told me to post it back. I am 69 years of age with very bad back and cannot even lift the battery. When I told him all he kept saying was post it back. Will never use them again.
Had a warning light come on my car last night . I was worried that my auxiliary Battery might need replacing. I took it to advanced batteries for a check. Andy the technician carried out a free electronic test on my Battery and alternator. There was nothing wrong with it. These people are Kind and trustworthy to deal with . A chip off the old block from Brian
I have found out at my cost at the moment what everybody else has found, and there are words I cannot use to describe them! One member of staff told me I could go to court and see his new suit, probably bought with money fleeced from customers? I asked his surname for reference and he told me, Mind your own Business! A very funny surname? I think they have got to mind their business, their customer service is cr*p, their batteries are cr*p. My purchased battery went wrong in 18 months of a 4yr warranty, and they would not refund my money, they need to read up on the Sale of Goods Act! If you paid by Credit Card try Chargeback to get your money back. If enough people do that perhaps the Credit Card companies will take thier card facilities away from them and they will go bust? They have rubbish batteries and rubbish staff.
