Experience with OK in Alicante was terrible. I lost my credit card and so could not use it to block excess (I also already paid in advance for excess insurance). My wife however brought her credit card and we had proof that it was a joint account, also debit card with enough money to cover. OK car hit would not accept this, I called affordable who advised it was at discreation of the person serving us, he would not even allow a change of the name to my wife’s so that we could use her credit card. We were only allowed to use debit card for excess if we purchased a number of add-ons at the desk which were likely commission earners for the person at the OK desk. As a result we lost about £90 and had 2 insurance policies... extremely disappointing service.
Now that we well know and understand the car hire system in Palma (Mallorca), the rates from Affordable are unbeatable, especially with our Tesco Boost vouchers.
Used Affordable with a professional membership benefi, needed to confirm a few details by phone. This was answered quickly without the long weight. Hire voucher received a few hours after payment was made.
Car hire not for a few months so watch this space.
