After spending an hour finding and testing was unable to economically repair fridge.
Liam was excellent explaining options and advising replacement rather than repair given cost of parts.
So only the low diagnostic charge to pay.

Had problems with my fridge ,spoke to a friendly polite young lady she said she would have someone out the next day at one o'clock as they were booked up all day, the engineer did come the next day at one o'clock fixed my fridge fast with no messing around price was good ,friendly service I will be ringing lothian domestics again if I have any problems. Thanks

Good job done by the engineer fitting new door seal on Samsung washing machine, quick and efficient and arrived on time. Very pleasant and helpful, explained how the problem may have occurred and how to avoid a repeat in the future.. overall we're happy and would definitely recommend

Our washing machine recently sprung a leak (door seal) and after 2 locally advertised plumbers failed to return/contact us we phoned Lothian Domestics. I did not think I would get a reply at 7pm at night (even though their page states they are open until 8pm). I received a pleasant surprise however, when the phone was quickly answered by a lady who took all the relevant details ,and informed me of the cost and charges etc..
Shortly after our conversation I received a text explaining that the engineer would be calling the next morning and between what times. I received another text in the morning informing me of his arrival time. He arrived punctually and confirmed what the fault was. He contacted his office to arrange a return visit the next day and I received another text and call the next morning informing me he was on his way. He arrived shortly afterwards and fixed the fault. He was courteous and experienced and the whole job was handled in a very professional manner. We would highly recommend this company, and we will be calling them first should the need arise again.

I was worried about getting washing machine fixed as we are too busy to wait in all day. The time slot they gave was really helpful to plan they day. The engineer came with the new motor it required and he fixed it and fixed the feet to stop the noise. All I half an hour, one visit. Great work thank you

Great service, you can book a quote and appointment online. One off call out fee so you know what you’re paying upfront. Really helpful engineer when he came out- fixed my machine in about 5 minutes!

The level of service was outstanding. Helpful, friendly and professional. The work was carried out promptly and I was kept in the loop about how the problem was solved. I got helped the same day as they where contacted and the tradesmen was in and out in less than an hour, perfect!

First-rate service. Appointment was easy to make using the online system and an engineer was available within 2 days, with slots available on a Saturday. Confirmation by email and text - and a quick response when I queried the arrival time. As advertised, I received notification more than an hour ahead of the 2-hour arrival window, and the engineer turned up well within the window. He was friendly and efficient, quickly diagnosed the fault, explained what it was and advised me on repair options. He carried out the agreed repair without delay. The fee seemed reasonable, probably a bit lower than I expected. I cannot fault this service.

I called to report a fault with a cooker causing the fuse box to trip in one of my flats I rent out in Broxburn. The lady on the phone was efficient, she understood I couldn't fully explain the problem because I am in Germany just now and it is a tenant staying in the flat, so she took the tenant's details and phoned them directly. Just over 2 hours later, I got an email from my tenants to say the engineer had been and fixed the issue and they were absolutely delighted with the very fast response especially as it's Easter Sunday. These are new tenants and they were about to spend Easter Sunday without a cooker, however now I have very happy tenants, making me a very happy landlord.
I'm out the country a lot and I will be passing details to all of my tenants for them to contact Lothian Domestics directly as a preferred contractor. Thank you very much, from myself and my tenants.

Jamie was great, he quickly diagnosed the problem with my washing machine and sorted it as fast as he could (he needed to order a non-standard part). The line was busy every time I tried to contact the company but I was able to arrange everything via their website (you can book your appointment slot) and was kept up-to-date via texts and emails. Faultless service, will use again if needed.
