" Loved our trip to Havasupai! It was a bucket list hike for me and I would highly reccomend Wildland to be your guide. We had two guides and they were both wonderful! They were knowledgeable, so/so joke tellers, good cooks, and all around good guys. I will definitely use Wildland [...read more] "
" Had a great experience with Wildland Trekking's llama assisted backpacking trip in Wyoming's Wind River range (Lakes, Cirques and Towers). Our guides James and Luke were excellent and great company. I thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic scenery and the use of llamas kept our packs light, making the hikes all the more enjoyable. We ate well at every meal. Our guides were amazing backcountry cooks. Would recommend this trip and Wildlands to anyone with an interest in backcountry hiking. I definitely intend to adventure with [...read more] "
" We had a wonderful experience with wildland trekking. I took my two young children on their first hiking/camping trip this summer. We opted for the llama trek to keep the backpacks light and because we are wild for animals. We all fell in love with our llamas. They really made the trip extra special. Our guide was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and so pleasant to be with. He was also an excellent cook! Everything was handled beautifully. I would [...read more] "
" This was an awesome and physically challenging trip with views only a few people get to see. Our guide was a fantastic backwoods cook. For those of us who work our rears off day in day out. It's great to relay on a company like Wildland Trekking to take care of the details. Otherwise, a trip like this would be near impossible to plan and not forget something that could turn a great trip into a nightmare. Already stashing money away for next years yet to be determined trip. It can't [...read more] "
" We went on the inn based Yellowstone hiking adventure in June 2018. We had 2 tour guides, Sally and Linda, and a group of 10. This exceeded all of my expectations. The guides were outstanding, the food terrific and the agenda matched everything we wanted to do. Well worth the time and effort. So much so that we are going to do another tour [...read more] "
" Yes I have six trips under my hiking boots and a seventh in the works. There are many reasons I keep coming back to Wildland Trekking and at the top of the list -- the GUIDES! I have had the most exceptional guides who made each trip a special and fun experience. Kory, Dillon, Ron, Isaac and Rory led our adventures with such knowledge and passion. But aside from the guides - Wildland Trekking is a pro shop and know how to make it easy to travel to diverse places on the trail by providing everything you need but your personal items. My world of backpacking got bigger and more expansive with Wildland Trekking as my go to group and they keep expanding to other areas. So many trails to trek! Thank you all, I'll keep [...read more] "
" I have backpacked with Wildland Trekking in both the Rocky Mountain National Park and the Grand Canyon. Both experiences were amazing. The guides were super knowledgeable about the area and history of the places. The meals were amazing and the stories shared inspiring. I learned useful tricks and tips on my gear too. Sleeping under the stars, knowing I didn't have to worry about planning every little detail of the trip, was amazing. My family always has me plan and I felt safe and secure in Wildland's hands. I was able to enjoy the experience and focus on [...read more] "
" We hiked the Grand Canyon and stayed at Phantom Ranch. Our guide took us down the Kaibob Trail on the first day. He had prepared food for us and supplied us with trekking poles and a backpack. The next day he took us on a day hike to a secluded waterfall. It was a beautiful place. The third day was back up on Bright Angel Trail. Our guide was very prepared with food and extra drinks. He also pointed out interesting things along the way. I got overheated on the way up and he was great at making sure I made it. I would and have recommended Wildland Trekking to many people. My husband and I plan on doing more [...read more] "
" My friends and I did a Yosemite trip this past summer. We had a narrow travel window to work with but Wildland was able to quickly develop a custom itinerary that was perfect for us. This was my second time using Wildland (first time was at the Grand Canyon). Each time we were provided with great guides, good [...read more] "
" This was our second hike with Wildland Trekking and am convinced there is no better adventure company. Everything exceeded our expectations. Our guides on this trip, Rosy and Linda, were the best. I had no idea our lunches during the hike would be 5-star. Our group really wanted to see wildlife, so our guides went out of there way to accommodate. We are already looking forward to hiking our next National [...read more] "
